Ammo’s Crane Personnel RTLS solution was designed to prevent collision between cranes and on-ground personnel within the rail yard environment.
There was no system in place to identify the location of the personnel to the crane operator in order to create a safe and efficient path for the crane to operate in. Often this meant the crane would fail to operate efficiently as it was not able to continue working without knowledge of the location of the on-ground personnel.
Through a combination of ultra wideband (UWB) and EMF technologies, Ammo was able to design a solution that allowed the tracking of all personnel within the working zone to ensure the crane was still able to work around people. This allows for the more efficient and safer movement of the crane within these areas.
We are looking to implement the Crane Personnel RTLS solution across all industries that require the mutual operator of cranes and on-ground personnel.
